Do the pictures all look the same? Another beautiful day, the wind got warmer the farther we got from the outer to the inner archipelago. Fortunately it also got stronger, Karsten was already talking about ‚hard work‘ because he found being so slow difficult to stand.
When I looked for the geocache on the little island I found out that the island’s name derives from the fact that between 1830 and 1850 it was used as a cholera cemetary. But ‚cemetery island‘ sounds strange, doesn’t it? In Swedish ‚kyrkogård‘ – ‚church yard‘ sounds a lot better!
On our way we found the boat for our next trip, when we’re old and need a little bit more comfort and space!
Now we’re in Vaxholm with all its hustle and bustle, even real archipelago steamers. In the background on the right you can see the famous fortress.
And there was a real ‚Boulangerie‘, but the price for the cake, which was really good, was accordingly.
